Different ordering programs depending on the company. The amount of pressure you can be under day to day, hundreds of phone calls, chasing up backorders, incorrect parts, delayed parts/deliveries, constantly angry customers who think you are useless because the wrong part turned up/didn't turn up/disappeared in the system/went somewhere else.
Knowing that the people who make the parts programs have nfi how easy they could and should be so they can get throuigh their day to day without going home with brain meltdown and overload. All on minimum wage with no apprenticeship offered, generally training on the job and always thrown in at the deep end. If you have a shitty parts manager steering the ship and a warehouse full of meth heads on an even lower wage then welcome to fucking hell.
