Argentine Candidate Debate Reveals Sharp Differences

Argentine presidential candidates Daniel Scioli and Mauricio Macri squared off in a televised debate Sunday night, ahead of the November 22 run off elections. Scioli, of the ruling Front for Victory, stressed progressive social policies, charged that if Macri's neoliberal Let's Change coalition wins, regional integration would be at risk, and accused his opponent of favoring a peso devaluation. Macri centered his comments on opposition to the current government and its policies and the need for change. teleSUR
