The war against whistleblowers in the United States continues to intensify after ex CIA agent Jeffrey Sterling was charged with nine counts of allegedly revealing confidential information about a top secret mission regarding the nuclear pact with Iran. The FBI says that Jeffrey Sterling was the source for the New York Times journalist James Risen’s “State of War.” At a Thursday press conference, his wife Polly Sterling denounced his imprisonment and called on President Barack Obama to grant him an immediate pardon based on his innocence. Bianca Perez reports from Washington for teleSUR.
