Sometimes the mail bag provides us with fun snacks, sometimes it forces us to eat things called Meat Bars!

We accept the existence of jerky, we even accept that any animal can be made into jerky, mmmmm human jerky… But for some reason when that meat is put into bar form something about it just seems wrong. A loaf is one thing, even a stick is considered somewhat normal, but the only bar we like serves beer and cocktails (thought occasionally those cocktails contain bacon). It’s also troubling to just refer to meat as MEAT. What kind of meat? Is it the face of a dolphin or the blue ass of a baboon? If it was from a cow wouldn’t they call it beef? We have so many questions that probably won’t be answered before we are forced to shove strange “meat” into our mouths.

The Overlords of Tasted.com love feeding you guys what you love, and you love to watch us try foods for you, so that you don’t have to (or so you can decide whether to run out and get some). Thus, we bring you Epic Meat Bars.

Have you tried Epic Meat Bars? What do you think? What is your favorite type of jerky? Do you think meat should be put in bar form? What kind of meat would you most like to try? If one of the options on a menu was just “Meat” would you order it? What do you think you’d get?
