Winemaking is an important part of Italian culture, and soon it may be part of the school curriculum starting with kids as young as 6!
An Italian Senator submitted a bill that proposed teaching children about wine since it’s such a huge part of Italian culture. A similar initiative already exists in Brescia, Northern Italy so the precedence exists. The hope is that children will not only gain an education about this staple of Italian life, but it could help prevent young people from abusing alcohol.
