Bear Cub Stuck In Tree Rescued By New York State Conservationists

A bear cub in Windham, New York was rescued after getting stuck in a tree branch 65 feet above the ground

Young animals are often curious about the world around them, and that can get them into some trouble.

One bear cub in Windham, New York found himself stuck in a tree branch 65 feet above the ground.

Personnel from the state’s Department of Environmental Conservation came to help the animal, which required borrowing a boom crane from a nearby construction company. 

Upon inspecting the scene up close, workers learned that the rescue wasn’t going to be an easy one, as the bear’s neck was tightly wedged in.
