Upon seeing the injured animal, Love gave her some water and apricots and called authorities.
After being captured by the Washington Department of Fish and wildlife, state biologist Rich Beausoleil treated the cub's third degree burns and fed her yogurt and dog food.
The cub, who was given the name 'Cinder,' was later flown to the Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care for further treatment by Pilots for Paws, a volunteer group of pilots.
According to the vet, she's a year and a half old but only 39 pounds, when she should be at least 80 pounds.
