A 6-month-old black bear cub in Ringwood, New Jersey, just clearly wanted to be like his hero, cartoon character Winnie the pooh on last Friday morning. And his greed for tasty snacks landed him in a tight spot, literally.

The black bear tried to eat a cracker left in a cookie jar, but when this Mr. Bruin couldn't snatch the sugary treat, he thought of a less smart way to get at the cookie. Use me noggin!

The little fella soon found out he was in trouble when he couldn't pull his head from the container.

The panicking cub must have been spooked, as he climb up a tree, and there he got trapped, 40 feet up.

Firemen, who found the bear in distress, used a bucket truck to reach the hostile animal and had to tranquilize him.

After liberating him from the jar, the dehydrated bear was put in water.

He was then taken to an animal rehabilitation center and will be released back into the wild after he recovers.
