Honduras: Protest Mov't Proposes Plebiscite

After months of demanding the formation of an international anti-corruption investigation commission, the Honduran protest movement is pressuring the country's congress to call a plebiscite that would force President Juan Orlando Hernandez to accept such a proposal. Hernandez says such a commission is unnecessary as the government is investigating corruption cases; activists say the President is merely protecting high-level officials.
