Honduras Marks 6th Anniversary of Coup

Sunday was the 6th anniversary of the coup that ousted the progressive democratically elected president of Honduras, Manuel Zelaya. The coup marked the beginning of the militarization of Honduras and was accompanied by widespread repression. A demonstration to commemorate the coup in the country's capital was attacked by supporters of the ruling National Party, who were repelled by members of the Resistance Front.
