00:00One of the safest country with great growth in the economy of the continent.
00:22That's why we reject any attempt to take us back to violence and fruitless policies
00:37as a method to have intrusion in the policies and in power.
00:46There have been many families that have been submerged in poverty and sadness by the machinations
00:51of a few that went away from our commitments to take care of our borders in the framework
00:57of the Constitution.
00:59In consequence, we announce that we have taken the decision to declare independent from any
01:07political machinations and free and responsible.
01:10We support the candidacy of President Nicolás Maduro for the July 28th elections that we
01:20will win.
01:21We will do it convinced that beyond any political position or ideology, Venezuela needs of agreements
01:30and plans that will allow us to build a future where we all are welcome and where peace and
01:38education and stability and economic growth and employment returns to our sons and daughters.
01:47There are common objectives that our steps have in the coming years.
01:54We go together with Maduro for a better future and a safer future.
02:00Mayors that declare independent Juan Carlos Zamora from the Tinaco Municipality, Pedro
02:11Antonio Abreu, the Mayor of Roja, Adriana Azuaje from the Obispo Municipality, and Suleman
02:24Avila, Mayor from the Juan Germán Municipality.
02:32Well, in the name of our candidate, President Nicolás Maduro, and in name of the Campaign
02:46Command Venezuela Nuestra, we want to welcome this important step that a group of mayors
02:54have taken at the national level.
02:58And in this occasion, there are four mayors from the central area of Venezuela that have
03:07expressed what makes up the main topics of our campaign and of President Nicolás Maduro's
03:15speech, the need for consensus, the need for union, the need to take care of economic growth
03:23so that we can build prosperity in the future.
03:27The city to take care of peace in our republic, which I believe this is a brave act of this
03:34mayor from a municipality in the capital, a mayor such as the Tinaco Municipality, an
03:42important municipality in Coged State, and the mayor from Obispo Municipality, a very
03:48important and historic municipality of the Barina State, and the mayor of the Roja Municipality,
03:55which is one of the engines of the agriculture in the Barina State.
04:01We are stating that beyond ideologies and political positions, and beyond the cards
04:07for which they were elected in the elections for mayors and governors in the year 2021,
04:13what matters here is Venezuela, a Venezuela of peace, a Venezuela of unity, a Venezuela
04:19of consensus.
04:20We can believe different things, we can have different opinions and have different levels
04:25of political participation, but what is really important is Venezuela.
04:31A lot of harm has been done trying to find shortcuts to take us to violence, so we open
04:39our arms to welcome all these proposals, which is a proposal for all, independently of how
04:47we think, what is important is to take care of Venezuela, to take care of our peace, to
04:55take care of what, how the mayor said on her statement, to take care of the country in
05:01this continent that has grown the most in the last years, and has an outlook for an
05:11impressive creation of a true power that will take us to the full recovery of our economy
05:18that has been hard hit by violence and repression and the predatory actions of
05:26savage capitalism and blockade and economic sanctions, and that take us to the recovery
05:33of the well-being that we all deserve.
05:36Thank you very much, mayors of the states of Varina and all others that want beyond
05:46their political vision to join this process of protecting Venezuela, which is the main
05:58thing that must lead us, which is what must direct our positions, and it is to protect
06:05our homeland, protect our economy, protect our security, and protect our peace, and reject
06:11and denounce any forms of violence of any kind, because we are beginning to see the
06:20plans that from some sectors that out of desperation they try to take positions
06:27that try to end violence, and we won't allow it. The Venezuelan people will answer
06:34with their votes to all these attempts to distort our tranquility. We are going to win,
06:42and we welcome deeply the support to the president candidate,
06:48Nicolás Maduro, from all these mayors. Thank you very much. Good afternoon.
