00:06claiming the lives of at least 113 people and injured around 155.
00:12The most recent briefing by the director of the Emergency Operations Center, Juan Manuel Mendes,
00:17confirmed the rising death toll as well as the passing of merengue singer Ruby Perez,
00:21whose body was taken out early Wednesday morning.
00:23While delivering the news, Mendes indicated he does not rule out the possibility of finding survivors of the rubble.
00:29As all emergency resources and institutions have been mobilized to assist in the surge.
00:34The incident, which also caused the death of Monte Cristi Governor Nelson Milagro Cruz-Martinez,
