After a United flight got diverted to Goose Bay, Canada, passengers had to spend a night in military barracks.

A United Airlines flight from Chicago to London Friday night was anything but routine.

Several hours after the departure from Chicago's O'Hare International Airport, United Flight 958 was diverted to Goose Bay, Canada due to a maintenance issue.

Upon arrival, instead of a hotel accommodation, 176 passengers were taken to military barracks - where they reportedly had to share bathrooms and the
