Butter Kit-Kats Meet Our Mouths!!! - Food Feeder

A few weeks ago, we told you about YET ANOTHER flavor of Kit Kats newly available in Japan. The flavor in question was “Butter” Kit Kats. Which confused us a bit, because we thought butter was more of an “ingredient” than a “flavor.” But whatever. We’ve got some of our own now. THANKS, EBAY!

Butter was the victor in a nationwide “suggest a flavor” contest Nestle Japan ran last year. Thanks to some enthusiastic participation from a culinary school in Hokkaido (which is known for its dairy farming), Butter was the victor. We’ll taste these special edition Kit Kats, and find out if those culinary students actually knew anything about flavor (Noah’s guess: NOPE)

The overlords of Tasted.com love feeding you guys what you love, and you love to watch us try foods for you, so that you don't have to (or so you can decide whether to run out and get some). Thus, we bring you something “unique” from Nestle Japan: Butter Kit Kats. (Only available in Chocolatory stores in Sapporo).

Do you think Butter is a good flavor for Kit Kats? If you could pick a Kit Kat flavor, what would you pick? Would you enlist a cabal of your culinary school classmates to make sure your pick won the flavor contest? What’s your favorite candy we’d eaten on the show?

Let us know in the comments!!
