Palestine: Renewed Clashes Erupt in East Jerusalem

Occupied East Jerusalem was the scene of new clashes between Palestinian youth and Israeli security forces. After Israeli security forces shot and killed a 41 year old Palestinian, who Tel Aviv says attempted to use his car to run over two Israeli policemen, moderately injuring them, clashes broke out. Islamic Jihad leader Ahmed Almudalal attributed Palestinian frustration and outbursts as a natural response to the constant human rights violations committed by Israeli forces.
