Taco Bell is testing out a NEW PRODUCT! Who’d have thought it? They only test new products every… day, pretty much. But this time, it’s not another variation on Doritos. It’s a variation on Fritos! Yup, they’re making taco shells out of Fritos now. But only in Memphis!

These new Fritos tacos come in original and Chili Cheese flavor, and they’re the latest in a long string of completely un-subtle cross-promotion that Taco Bell has been carrying on with sister brands Pepsi and Frito Lay. It’s really just a matter of time before Taco Bell starts making burritos stuffed with those Pepsi Cheetos from Japan***

***Note to any Taco Bell or PepsiCo executives watching: This is not an actual suggestion of something we actually think you should do.

What do you think is going to be the next new product from Taco Bell created by a corporate synergy committee? Have you had the chance to try these Fritos Tacos out in the Memphis area? Do you think original or Chili Cheese Fritos make for better taco shells? What other zany food news have you heard that you think we should talk about on the show?
