Ecuador: President Cancels Event due to Assassination Threat

Ecuadoran President Rafael Correa was forced to cancel a community lunch after an unknown assailant threatened to kill him, the local mayor, and others at the event. Security forces determined the threat, sent through a text message, was posted less than 500 meters from where the event was to be held. teleSUR
