Kind Bars Not Kind Enough To Health For FDA

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration recently sent the maker of Kind Bars a letter warning the company that several of its products make health claims that are not compliant with food labeling laws.

Kind Bars are marketed as a healthy snack, but the FDA has called into question some of their claims.

On March 17, the agency sent a letter to Daniel Lubetzky, CEO of Kind LLC., informing him that four of his products do not meet FDA labeling standards.

The Kind bars in question are: Fruit & Nut Almond & Apricot; Fruit & Nut Almond & Coconut; Plus Peanut Butter
