Panda Express is bucking the trend of boneless skinless everything with their new menu item: Pork Spare ribs (which are probably still skinless, but still). They’re available for a (longish) limited time, so act (moderately) fast!
These pork spareribs, which Noah suspects will be of somewhat above-average fast food quality, are actually the first pork item at all on the Panda Express menu. Which doesn’t seem right, because it's ostensibly a Chinese food restaurant, but USA Today said it’s true, so it must be.
The spare ribs are the final recipe of Panda’s departing Executive Chef, Andy Kao, whose most notable life achievement is creating Orange Chicken. Which, now that we think about it, is actually pretty notable, as things go. Good job, Andy! Happy retirement!
