Man Arrested For Dragging Donkey Behind Truck

Most people would be very upset to see an animal being dragged down the road. On Saturday, a number of individuals in Texas witnessed a donkey that had been tied to the back of a moving truck.

Montgomery County police eventually stopped the vehicle which was driven by 21-year-old Nasim Irsan. He was soon arrested and charged with "cruelty to animals" in relation to the incident.
The donkey had been pulled for several miles prior to the police stop. One side of the rope was secured around its neck while the other end was attached to the trailer hitch on the pickup.
Witnesses to the scene agree it was certainly disturbing seeing the animal being tugged down the street, but surprisingly it doesn't look like the donkey sustained any injuries.
