She recently met with kids at the Children’s National Health System for a Q & A session.
When one child asked what she wanted for Christmas, Michelle answered “I don’t really have a long wish list for Christmas, because I pretty much have everything I need…I just want everybody to be happy, and I want to sleep in...Maybe I’ll get that.”
Another kid spoke up and asked if she owned Christmas pajamas. To that, the first lady admitted that she does not in fact have any festive PJs.
Michelle certainly approved of the question and even said she might put that on her Christmas list.
As part of the appearance, Michelle enthusiastically read ‘The Night Before Christmas’ to the young audience, which is a yearly tradition that stretches back to the days of former first lady Bess Truman.
Mrs. Obama also opened up about her holiday traditions at home and shared that the family’s two dogs aren’t left out of the present and stocking departments.
