British government promotes extractive industries

he British Embassy for Central America is promoting the expansion of extractive industries in the region which means more mining companies dedicated to petroleum exploration and natural gas exploitation.They assure tthey will demand more transparency for the government's use of the money the companies will report but don´t talk about the impacts these companies have in people's lives and the environment.
