Taco Bell’s product developers must have spent some time on the Internet lately, because they’ve decided to incorporate online food-obsession focal point into their newest test menu items. SRIRACHA FOR ALL!!
Or, rather, Sriracha for everyone in Kansas. Maybe not even that - Redditors in the Sunflower state have been reporting that the Sriracha sauce Taco Bell is serving up on its Nachos Supreme, Quesaritos, Loaded Grilllers, and “Scrambler Burritos” isn’t so much actual sriracha as that spicy mayo stuff Subway’s been putting on its sandwiches of late. We can’t decide if this is disappointing or just par for the Taco Bell course. Or maybe it’s an elaborate
Well, since the Sriracha menu is only available in Kansas, we’re counting on all our Kansas Feeders to report back on the, um, “quality” of this most recent development. If you don’t live in Kansas, you’ll have to settle for reading up on the menu here: http://goo.gl/eQqvUH
And the Reddit comments here: http://goo.gl/OuKihJ
Well, okay, this is apparently a thing that’s going to be a thing now. You can read more about it at FoodBeast: http://goo.gl/ONKA70
Have you tried the new Sriracha menu at Taco Bell? What did you think? What other Internet obsession do you think is due for fast-food co-opting? Does it still count as “Mexican” food if it’s a breakfast item covered with a spicy Asian sauce? Are you a fan of Sriracha? do you think this is a good thing?
