Rehri or Rehri Goth (Urdu: ریڑھی), a 300 years old site, is one of the neighborhoods of Bin Qasim Town in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. Rehri is located on the Arabian Sea coast and has large community of fishermen. This Goth has 22 small areas and population approximately around 35,000.
Major issue of Rehri is job crises and due to this people involved in drug addiction.
This report highlights major issue of ‘51% of divorced rate’. Women have to work or run small shops to earn and feed their children. Majority of Married woman suffered from husband’s punishment or husband died by using drugs. No support and future of young & small girls – people are waiting for government support or funding. Government need to provide job facilities and register them for providing small working setups that will change/ improve living.
