Colombia adapts PET bottle home construction

Adopting a recycling technique first noted in Brazil in 2007 when Favela dweller Luiz Fernando Barreto de Queiroz Bispo built a floating home from garbage and plastic bottles, and already in use in many countries, the organization Colombian Design School is designing homes using PET bottles to create ecologically sound homes with rooftop areas for growing food. teleSUR
