Today, 51 Cuban healthcare workers arrived in Liberia to help that country in its battle with Ebola. Neighboring Sierra Leone already has 165 Cuban medical professionals. All are part of an eventual Cuban medical group of 450 who will be stationed in different parts of West Africa. Cuba has sent more doctors to Africa to fight Ebola than any other country. Also today, the World Health Organization held its third emergency Ebola-themed session, and is working on a vaccine to be ready by early next year. teleSUR
