Police in San Diego are asking the public for help in identifying a suspect who allegedly robbed a gas station dressed as a terrifying clown. The USA Gas Station located in Bay Park was hit on August 6th.

The armed man was wearing black pants and a hoodie along with a rainbow wig and clown mask. He walked into the business holding the handgun at his waist before waving it towards the clerk and demanding money.

During the robbery, the suspect stated ‘I don't want to blow a hole in you, man. Hurry it up.’ The staffer filled up a bag and handed it over to the man who was able to flee.

About a week after that crime, a 7-Eleven in Linda Vista was targeted. In the early morning hours, the gunman who was wearing a clown mask, pointed his firearm at the clerk and demanded money.

A third robbery was also reported at yet another local 7-Eleven. Given the timing and similar circumstances, police believe they are related.

Investigators are searching for a Hispanic man who stands about 5 feet 7 inches tall.
