A driver in Spain has landed in some legal trouble after posting a video of himself in the passenger seat when he should have been sitting behind the steering wheel. The 20-year-old male shared the footage on YouTube for the world to see.

In it, he’s driving from the wrong side of the car with his arm outstretched to steer the vehicle. At one point, he yawns and appears to be rather bored.

After that he moved the camera to reveal to everyone that nobody was in the driver’s seat. Then he focused on the street ahead to show that he was indeed cruising down the road.

He even maneuvered into the passing lane to get past a semi truck. Spanish police eventually saw the clip and took to Twitter for help in identifying him.

The social media campaign was successful and the man turned himself in. He recently landed in court where he was found guilty of reckless driving.

The male was given a six-month suspended sentence, which will be dismissed so long as he doesn’t break the law anytime within the next two years.
