Popular in parts of China & many other parts of the world, this delicacy often seen as a pest in the West, turns out to be a popular after school treat! Insects are close relatives of shrimp and lobsters, both of which are considered culinary delicacies, so it's not a surprise that recipes around the world include a plethora of creepy crawlies. Though scorpions aren't formally insects, but arachnids, they still make the cut in the world of culinary bugs! Scorpions populate almost every part of the globe. They strike fear in the hearts of many people due to the potent venom in the stingers of many variations of it. That didn't stop anyone from trying out cooking and eating them, though!
