George Zimmerman Sells Painting on eBay

Amid death threats and cries of injustice after his acquittal, George Zimmerman has since tried to “find a creative way to get on with his life” and is selling his own original artwork on the eBay auction site.
Known for shooting 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in Florida, George Zimmerman was acquitted of those murder charges in July of 2013. The 18 x 24 inch painting on stretched canvas is titled “George Zimmerman original painting” and the seller is “therealgeorgez.” Bidding started at $50 not including shipping. Both Zimmerman’s brother and attorney confirm the artwork is genuine.
The painting shows a U.S. flag in shades of blue with the words, “GOD ONE NATION with LIBERTY and JUSTICE FOR ALL.” The auction description ended by saying, “My art work allows me to reflect, providing a therapeutic outlet and allows me to remain indoors :) I hope you enjoy owning this piece as much as I enjoyed creating it. Your friend, George Zimmerman.”
The auction comes less than 1 week after domestic violence charges were dropped against Zimmerman. After his murder acquittal, his estranged wife Shellie filed divorce papers. Shortly after that, his girlfriend Samantha Scheibe said he pointed a gun at her, but she later took back that story saying she wanted to reunite with Zimmerman.
