A man in Charles City, Virginia took out some good natured revenge on his wife after she informed him that he needed to make a decision between staying married or keeping his motorcycle.
A man in Charles City, Virginia, named Bob White, took some good natured revenge on his wife after she informed him that he needed to make a decision between staying married or keeping his motorcycle.
The hubby went to Craigslist and typed up a comical ad, allowing potential buyers to make the choice for him. He attached photos of both the woman and machine noting “Wife says: 'Harley goes or she goes'... Your choice. Both in excellent condition: $5,900.”
As for the details on the bike, it’s a 2006 Sportster XL1200L and the wifey…. She’s listed as a 1959 model year. White pointed out she was in great shape despite being a classic.
The details on each of the offerings were further divulged. The bike had less than 7,000 miles and it was well maintained, however the woman had, as White put it, ‘high mileage’ and he also referred to her as high maintenance.
The ad is clever to say the least and definitely garners attention, but at the bottom White makes it pretty clear he’s not serious. He wrote buyers will be able to test ride the bike but certainly not his wife.
Some may be disappointed to hear that in a recent update, the posting has been removed.
