Rocketfish 12ft Hdmi Cable Review

I needed a long HDMI cable to run in the wall from the TV to surround sound receiver. I already had Rocketfish cables from the components to the receiver and had never had a problem but saw another company offering professional premium cables at half the price of the Rocketfish. So, I ordered all new cables, replaced the older Rocketfish ones, and had nothing but problems from the start. Loose fitting, very stiff, several kept dropping the signal, crap. Too bad, they looked great but Id rather have a good picture on the TV than a pretty looking cable. So, they all went back, I reinstalled the old Rocketfishes and ordered a new 12 Rocketfish from Amazon to run in the wall. It got here in a few days, installed easy, and fit well. Excellent picture! NOTE I have done some reading on HDMI cables and see where some people say the cheaper cables are just as good as the more expensive cables, that theyre all made in the same factories and youre paying for the name when you buy a cable like Rocketfish. In my opinion, and its just my opinion, I believe you get what you pay for. If you have a small TV, yeah, you probably could get away with a less expensive cable, but you get up in the 46&34 and higher HDTV range, the cables do make a difference. I ordered a set of Amazon Basics HDMI cables to try and, while they worked well, the picture on my 46&34 Samsung just wasnt as good as it should be. Those Basics work great on my smaller 32&34 and Im very pleased with them with that TV. http://gradebit.com/369
