We all know it's important to choose an honest house or business cleaner, as they have easy access to personal belongings. Police in Arlington, Virginia are asking the public for help in finding the whereabouts of a suspect who is wanted in connection to multiple residential thefts.

A window washer, 33-year-old Justin Honaker, has been accused of grand larceny and larceny with intent to sell. A police authority stated “Employed by a window cleaning crew, Honaker stole jewelry and prescription drugs from numerous residences in Arlington and Fairfax counties during work hours.”

The suspect is described as a white male, standing roughly 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing approximately 185 pounds. Law enforcement officials believe Honaker may have gained entry into several other homes and they are asking anyone who has been victimized or encountered a theft to come forward and report the incident.

There are some easy tips to avoid home thefts and break ins. Although it sounds obvious, locking doors and windows is often overlooked, making it too easy for criminals to get inside.

Install an alarm system and security cameras. If unable to do so, homeowners can always place a sign for a security company on the front lawn to trick and thwart thieves.
