Indra approaches Sun god to break meditation of Hiranyakashyapu who meets failure. Brahma appears and gives five different boons to Hiranyakashyapu. When Hiranyakashyapu is informed about what had happened, attacks heaven and captures it. Narad tells Hiranyakashyapu that his wife is in his shelter when Hiranyakashyapu warns to set fire on heaven. Hiranyakashyapu shows his gratefulness towards Narad.
