Vishnu Puran 33 (with English subtitle)

Hiranyakashyapu is completely disturbed in his defeat and the protection of his son Prahlad. When Prahlad says that God exists everywhere and also in that pillar which his father points to him, that pillar is burned red by fire and Prahlad is asked to embrace it. He does it successfully as if it were cold. When Hiranyakashyapu tries to kill Prahlad tied to pillar, God Vishnu incarnates as NarSingh and kills him. When everybody fails in making NarSingh quiet, Prahlad by his devotion makes Him quiet.
