Some people can pull off some really dumb pranks. 35-year-old Kevin Kibert may be one of them.

He was recently arrested after allegedly placing a skunk in a public gas station bathroom. According to employees, Kibert walked into the establishment with a garbage bag in his hands. He reportedly went into the restroom and walked back out a short time later apologizing to a store worker.

The employee went to see why Kibert had said sorry, and that’s when the skunk was discovered in the men’s room. At that time, the scared animal had already sprayed the lavatory.

Eventually the skunk was caught, however the damage had already been done.

Customers who came in after the skunk’s visit abruptly left because they could not handle the atrocious smell. Store authorities estimate they lost about $6,000 in business due to the skunk stunt.

Although Kibert denies any involvement, he did admit to getting into an argument with a store worker just a few days before the incident. Kibert is facing a charge of criminal mischief.
