Woman Tries to Run Ex-Boyfriend Over But Hits Tree Instead

45-year-old Veronica Doctor arrived at her ex-boyfriend's home at roughly 2 in the morning. During an argument, Doctor allegedly tried to strike the ex with her car, but he was able to move out of the way just in time, and she hit a tree instead.

At some point during the night, Doctor made the decision to pay her ex-boyfriend a visit. She took her black SUV and arrived at his home at roughly 2 in the morning.
She began honking the horn. The ex did look out his window to see Doctor was driving around in circles on his lawn.
Suspecting she was drunk, the victim attempted to confront her about driving while under the influence. An argument ensued and the male walked away .
Not one to be ignored, Doctor allegedly tried to strike him with her car, but the victim was able to move out of the way just in time. She hit a tree instead.
Police arrived on scene and immediately noticed she appeared to be drunk. Her blood-alcohol level was reported to be .259.
The woman was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and aggravated assault.
