Woman Diagnosed With MS Ran 366 Marathons in 1 Year

Annette Fredskov is one woman who can be described as an over-achiever. She successfully finished off 366 marathons over the course of one year.

The Danish lady recently finished off 366 marathons in the course of one year.

Annette ran approximately 9,500 miles during those 365 days. She was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis several years ago. That’s when the mom of two decided to adopt an active lifestyle, incorporating running into her exercise regime.

Annette stated “Three years ago, I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and today I have – without any medication – no problems or symptoms of MS. I believe that running marathons has played a large role in the fact that I am healthy today.”

July 15th, 2012 was the first marathon that started off her year-long event. On July 14th, she completed the journey, but she went out with a big bang. Instead of running one marathon, she finished two .

Over the 365 days, she reportedly went through 20 pairs of running shoes. Annette claimed that running marathons did wonders for both her body and soul.
