00:47CHEERING
00:49Well, hello, everybody!
00:51CHEERING
00:53And welcome to...
00:55CHEERING
00:57Yes, indeed, Justin's house.
00:59And you have arrived on a very special day,
01:02because today, Justin's Comet is going to be flying
01:06over Justin's house tonight!
01:08CHEERING
01:10I know!
01:12It only happens once every gazillion years,
01:15so we're having a special stargazing party to celebrate.
01:19I've set up Justin's telescope
01:21so that we can see Justin's Comet when it arrives,
01:24and also I've set up all of these spacey decorations.
01:28Do you like them?
01:30Yes!
01:31I've even gone so far as to make some space snacks.
01:34Now, where did I put them?
01:36I'm sure they're here somewhere.
01:38CHEERING
01:41Oh, it's Little Monster! Say hello to Little Monster, everybody!
01:45No, don't eat the space snacks.
01:47We need to wait for them, Little Monster.
01:49No, no! No, give them here! No!
01:51No, we need to wait for when the Comet arrives.
01:53I'll tell you what, why don't I find somewhere safe to put them
01:56while we're waiting, Little Monster?
01:58How about that?
02:02Wiggle your bottoms!
02:04Shake and grin!
02:06It's ja-ja-ja, ja-ja-ja-ja, ja-ja-ja-ja-ja!
02:09CHEERING
02:11Wow, do you like my spacey decoration?
02:13CHEERING
02:15Yes! I've got it ahead of our stargazing party!
02:19Robert, what are you doing?
02:21Oh, I'm seeing stars.
02:23Oh, dear. Robert, I can't wait to see Justin's Comet.
02:27Oh, when's it going to arrive?
02:30Oh, when's it going to arrive?
02:32Stop that, sir, stop that.
02:34No, it isn't here yet.
02:36Look, I know it's way past your bedtime,
02:38but you're just going to have to wait, sir.
02:40Oh, all right, I'll wait.
02:42Hey!
02:46Is it here yet, Robert?
02:49Give me that!
02:51No, sir, I'm sorry, but you're just going to have to wait like everybody else.
02:55Oh, Robert, but it's really hard to wait, isn't it, everyone?
02:59CHEERING
03:01Yeah, but I tell you what, sir,
03:03why don't we do something fun while we're waiting?
03:05Ah, good idea.
03:07Why don't we sing a song with all of our friends?
03:10That's a wonderful idea, sir, yes.
03:12Robert, fire up the old intergalactic RMP1 player.
03:16Ah, breaking through into orbit now, sir.
03:19And what do we say, Space Rangers?
03:21CHEERING
03:23Hitting it now!
03:25Come on, let's see you dancing! Here we go!
03:27All right! Yeah!
03:30Woo! It's our space party!
03:33Here we go! Here we go!
03:35All right!
03:37It's the place you want to play in
03:40You're my special guest today
03:44It's the place you want to stay in
03:49Yeah!
03:50There's Robert, the robot, and Little Monster too
03:53There's someone else we think you know
03:56Who is funny and sunny, has a smile on his face
03:59He's Justin!
04:02Yeah! This is my place
04:04Come on, Space Rangers, let me hear you sing!
04:07It's the place you want to play in
04:10You're my special guest today
04:13It's the place you want to stay in
04:15Everybody welcome here in
04:17Yeah!
04:19We sing here and dance here, play silly games too
04:22But it wouldn't be fun if it wasn't for you
04:25You're funny and sunny, put a smile on my face
04:28You're brilliant!
04:31Yes, you are!
04:32You really are great
04:33Sing along!
04:35It's the place you want to play in
04:39You're my special guest today
04:42It's the place you want to stay in
04:44Everybody welcome here in
04:47Everybody welcome here in
04:49Justin's
04:53Justin's house!
04:55Give yourselves a big cheer!
04:58Very good, very good
04:59Robert, I mean, that singing was out of this world, wasn't it, everyone?
05:03It certainly was. It was cosmic, yeah
05:06I know. Now, talking of cosmic, what about Justin's comet?
05:10Where is it, Robert?
05:11Well, it's not here quite yet, sir
05:13But it only comes once every gazillion years
05:15I mean, I'm sure you can wait a teensy bit longer
05:18Oh, but Robert, waiting for it is so hard to do
05:24All right, all right
05:25Look, sir, may I?
05:28Yes, of course you can, Robert
05:29All right, all right
05:32Wait
05:40Right, now, sir, while we are waiting
05:43why don't I regale you with information about Justin's comet
05:47using the power of fruit
05:50Wow, Robert, that sounds interesting and delicious at the same time
05:55All right, all right
05:56So let's imagine that this apple is the sun
05:59Right
06:00So we'll pop that there like this
06:01So this apple is the sun
06:02Yes, and then this strawberry is the Earth
06:05Like that
06:07And then all of these grapes are the planets
06:10So we've got Mercury and Venus and Mars and Jupiter and Saturn
06:19Do you know what, Robert?
06:20Yes
06:21I never knew space exploration could be so delicious
06:24Oh, really, sir?
06:25Little Monster, another planet
06:27What do you mean, another planet?
06:28Wait a minute, who's been eating me planets?
06:33Well, there may have been some kind of vortex in space
06:36and all of the planets may have ended up in my black hole
06:40The black hole in the middle of your face, you mean?
06:42Yes, my mouth
06:44All right, let's try this one more time, shall we?
06:46Right, so this apple is the sun
06:49Leave it alone, leave it alone
06:51I'm watching you
06:52Right, this strawberry is the Earth
06:54Oh, yes, yes
06:55Leave it, leave it
06:57Right, and then these grapes are all the other planets
07:01No, leave it alone, leave it alone
07:04Right, so we've got 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
07:08Right, OK, so there's all of our planets and the sun
07:11Now, if we imagine that this slice of cake is Justin's comet, you see
07:18and this gets to go around and around and around our sun
07:24But let's imagine that Justin's comet is not this delicious
07:28delicately baked collection of flour and sugar and...
07:35No, no, it is in fact a large ball of ice and rock whizzing about our galaxy
07:41so whizzing back and forth and back and forth
07:45and you're following it very intently, sir
07:48I think we could have some fun with this
07:52So the comet whizzes over here
07:56and then it whizzes over there
07:59and then it hits another cherry, I mean comet
08:03and goes spinning off around the galaxy
08:06Give me the cake, give me the cake
08:13But then, as Justin's comet approaches our Earth
08:17it gets nearer the heat of our sun
08:20so it starts to melt, you see
08:22and it gets smaller
08:25What are you doing?
08:27And it gets a little bit smaller
08:30and then as Justin's comet starts to melt
08:34the ice and rocks start to fall away
08:36and they form a beautiful shimmering tail
08:39which is exactly what we're going to see
08:41when Justin's comet flies over Justin's house tonight
08:45Hang on a minute, that was my cake!
08:48You know, I have to admit, Robert
08:51that cake, I mean the comet, sounds very exciting
08:54I can't wait to see it, can you, everyone?
08:57It's going to be amazing
08:59Just hold your horses and don't get too excited
09:02The comet won't be here yet
09:04However, I have set up your telescope so that we can see it when it does arrive
09:07Well, I have to say, it's very heavy, Robert
09:09It's built to last, sir
09:11Oh!
09:13Oh!
09:15Oh, Robert!
09:17Oh, Robert!
09:19Oh, Robert!
09:21Sergeant, be careful!
09:23Oh!
09:25Right, let's see what we can see through it
09:27Here we go
09:29Hang on, everyone, I can see a green alien over there
09:32An alien? That's not an alien
09:34Who is that, everybody?
09:36Yes, that's right, just a little monster, sir
09:39If you want to be looking at space, you need to be looking up there
09:42because that's where space is
09:44I've set your telescope up ready
09:46Oh, I see, I'll give it another go
09:48Right, here we go
09:50Oh, I say, Robert, I can see some beautiful stars
09:53Yes
09:55It's amazing, Robert, but it's such a shame
09:57that our friends can't see what I can see through my telescope
10:00Well, don't worry, sir, I've already thought of this
10:04Everybody, get ready to go, ooh, all right
10:08Because I think you're going to like this
10:10Ooh!
10:12I know!
10:14It's a telly for the telescope
10:17All right, but basically, sir, whatever you see through the telescope,
10:20we can see on the telly
10:22Well, that's just brilliant, Robert
10:24Right, let's get stargazing, shall we?
10:26I'm just moving the telescope around, refocusing, Robert
10:30Here we go, can anyone see anything?
10:33Ooh!
10:35What is it?
10:38Oh, you're right
10:40Robert, I can see a blue planet
10:42Oh, it's lovely, sir, hello
10:44Yes, I wonder who lives on the blue planet
10:46Any ideas?
10:48Well, I don't know, let's have a look
10:50I'm just focusing
10:52Let's have a look
10:53Oh, sir, look, it's the Klangers
10:55Who lives on the blue planet?
10:57It's the Klangers
10:59Hello
11:01Hi, Klangers
11:02Wonderful, sir
11:04Look, you know what?
11:06There's still no sign of Justin's comet, Robert
11:11Oh, don't worry, sir
11:13Oh!
11:14I'm so sorry, oh, you grumpy bear
11:16I am
11:17I'm just going to have to wait, sir
11:19At any moment now, it will arrive
11:21I'm certain
11:22I'll just wait here, Robert, it won't be a problem
11:24I'll just have a... I want to see if I had it
11:31I don't believe it, he's fallen asleep, hasn't he?
11:33Has he fallen asleep?
11:38Sir, wake up, wake up, wake up!
11:42Hang on a minute, did I miss the comet?
11:45No, no, you've not missed it, sir
11:47But if you keep falling asleep, you will miss the comet, won't he, everybody?
11:51Well, Robert, what do you suggest?
11:53Well, listen, I'll tell you what
11:54Why don't I fix us some more space snacks while we're waiting, all right?
11:58And it's very important Justin doesn't fall asleep, everybody
12:01If you see Justin falling asleep, will you shout at the tops of your voices,
12:05Wake up, Justin! Could you do that for me?
12:09Right, I'm going to get the space snacks ready
12:11You try and keep Justin awake, all right?
12:13That's brilliant, Robert
12:14I'm never going to fall asleep now
12:16Ooh, I do feel tired, but don't worry
12:18I'm fine, I'm fine
12:20I'll just sit over here and wait for you to make all of those lovely space snacks
12:26And I'll wait for Justin's comet to arrive
12:29Oh, that's better
12:37Oh, sorry, everyone
12:38Oh, I just drifted off there for a minute
12:40Did I miss the comet?
12:42No
12:44Sorry, Robert
12:45Could I make a suggestion, sir?
12:47Why don't you stand up?
12:48I mean, it's much harder to fall asleep if you're standing up
12:51Oh, of course
12:52That's the answer, Robert
12:53I'm never going to fall asleep now
12:54Right, I'll just wait for the comet
12:56And I'll keep my eyes wide open, everyone
12:59It's going to be great
13:12Knew it
13:13Oh, right, all right
13:14We need to take this up a notch
13:16We're going to shout, wake up, Justin, after three
13:19But we're not just going to shout it
13:20I want you to stamp your feet, clap your hands
13:22I want you to take the roof off this place, all right?
13:24Are you ready?
13:25After three
13:26One, two, three!
13:38Sizzling solenoids
13:40That was loud
13:42I wonder if we woke sir up
13:45Oh, dear
13:46Right, well, I mean, this is ridiculous
13:48I can't leave sir like this
13:50Do you know what?
13:51I'm just going to have to try and get him to the sofa, aren't I?
13:54All right, here we go
14:09Ew!
14:22Oh!
14:24Oh!
14:25Oh!
14:26Oh!
14:27Oh!
14:28Right
14:29Oh!
14:30Oh!
14:31Ooh!
14:38Oh!
14:39Oh!
14:40Oh!
14:46Oh, diggling diodes
14:48If Justin stays asleep, he's going to miss Justin's comet
14:52Oh, dear, if only he could have waited
14:55What am I going to do?
14:58Who's at the door?
15:00Who's at the door?
15:01Someone better answer it
15:03Oh, Robert, get the door
15:06Right, so you can do that in your sleep
15:08I don't believe it
15:10I'm going to have to answer the door, aren't I, everybody?
15:14How do I open it? Is it that one?
15:17I knew that, I knew that
15:19Right, I wonder who it is
15:21Oh, look, everybody, it's Maggie from CBeebies Stargazing
15:25Give her a big cheer
15:29Oh, hello, Robert, hello, everyone
15:32Oh, hello, Maggie, hi
15:35I was told that this is the best place to see Justin's comet
15:38Oh, yes
15:39But my telescope's broken, so can I join you?
15:42Oh, Maggie, it would be an honour
15:44Oh, yes, yes, we've all been waiting to see the comet, yes
15:51Well, actually, not all of us have been waiting
15:54You see, Justin is unable to wait and he keeps falling asleep
15:58And I'm worried he's going to miss the comet
16:00This is a problem
16:01Yes
16:02Have you tried shouting, Wake up, Justin?
16:05Yes, we've tried that, haven't we, everybody? Yes
16:08Have you tried stamping your feet and clapping your hands?
16:11Oh, yes, we did that, didn't we, everybody? Yes
16:13Have you tried tickling his toes with a large, inflatable moon?
16:17Oh, yes, of course, I mean, that was... Wait a minute, what?
16:20No, we've not tried that
16:21Oh, that's a wonderful idea
16:23But where would we find a large, inflatable moon from?
16:27I mean, where could we find such a thing?
16:30That's a very... What?
16:33What?
16:35Where?
16:39Oh, Little Monster, that's wonderful
16:41Oh, yes, could I borrow that moon, please?
16:43If I could just take that... No, give it... No, give it here
16:46No, give it back! Oh, Little Monster!
16:48Right, where's Little Monster gone, everybody?
16:52Where?
16:54Oh, give it... Oh, thank you
16:57Oh, sorry, sir, where is she?
17:01Oh, I'm coming, I'm coming
17:03Right, if I just... Oh
17:05Where is she? Oh, thank you
17:07I'm coming, I'm coming
17:09I'm coming, are you... No, Isabelle!
17:19Little Monster, may I have the balloon?
17:22Thank you
17:23Oh, right, you'll give it to Maggie
17:25Well, thank you, Little Monster
17:26Right, I suppose we'd better tickle Justin's feet, then
17:29Right, I'm going in
17:30Oh, no, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait
17:32Wait, Maggie
17:33No qualified scientist should have to deal with these shoes
17:35They're not heavenly, I assure you
17:39Oh, yes, and...
17:42Right, so if we could just...
17:45Good luck, Maggie
17:57Oh, actually, that was rather fun
18:00Can I have a go, Maggie?
18:02Thank you very much, thank you
18:04All right, here we go, and...
18:10Stop it!
18:12Hey, what's going on?
18:14Hang on a minute
18:15Oh, it's Maggie
18:17Hello, Maggie, and welcome to Justin's house
18:21Maggie, you know, I dreamt I was having my toes tickled by a giant banana
18:27Yeah, it's true
18:29I'm so sorry, sir
18:30We had to wake you up somehow
18:32We didn't want you to miss Justin's comet
18:34Wow, is Justin's comet here?
18:36Well, no, not exactly, sir, no
18:38Oh, no, Robert, don't tell me, not more waiting
18:41Oh, Maggie, I can't wait any longer
18:44What am I going to do?
18:45Don't worry, Robert, I've got this
18:47Thank you, Maggie
18:49Listen, Justin, I work as a space scientist
18:52Wow
18:53So I spend all my time looking up at the marvellous night sky
18:57at stars and planets and comets
19:01I remember when I was trying to see my first comet
19:03I had to wait and wait and wait
19:06I thought it would never come
19:08But then it appeared
19:09And I thought, wow, this is the best thing I've seen in my whole life
19:13It was amazing, like a shining jewel zipping across the night sky
19:18Oh, Maggie, that sounds fabulous
19:21So it's just like a brilliant firework display out there
19:24You have to wait for the fireworks to get started
19:26But when they do, they're brilliant
19:28You know what, Maggie, I think you're right
19:30Some things are worth waiting for, aren't they, everyone?
19:33Yes, absolutely
19:35And I'm ready for Justin's comet
19:38Yeah, and I'm going to try really, really, really hard to wait this time
19:43And we'll wait with you, won't we, everyone?
19:46Wonderful
19:47Right, let's see what we can find in my telescope
19:51Keep your eyes peeled, everybody
19:53That's it, no sign yet
19:55Let's move the telescope a little bit
19:57Keep watching, everyone
19:59Is that it?
20:00Where?
20:01No, no, no, but wait a second
20:03Keep watching, everybody
20:06Hang on a second
20:09I'm just adjusting the telescope, Maggie
20:15Ooh, ooh, ooh, I think I can see it
20:17Is that it, Maggie?
20:18I think that's it
20:19Can you see it, everybody?
20:21Yeah!
20:23Wow, you're right
20:24There it is
20:25There it is, this is Justin's comet
20:27Oh, it's beautiful
20:29Heading towards us, everyone
20:32Wow!
20:33Oh, now it's just showing off
20:35Oh, Robert, there it goes
20:39A big cheer for Justin's comet
20:42Hooray!
20:44Oh, that was amazing
20:46Oh, I can't believe it, Maggie
20:48And do you know what? You were right
20:50That was well worth the wait
20:52Maggie, the question is, when can I see Justin's comet again?
20:56Oh, Justin's comet isn't going to come back for another gazillion years
21:01A gazillion years?
21:03Oh, wait!
21:08Justin, while we're waiting, why don't we sing a species song?
21:13Yeah!
21:15I think that's a yes
21:16Would you like to join us, Maggie?
21:17Yes
21:18OK, come on, everyone
21:19Fire up the old intergalactic RMP-1 launch pad one more time
21:25OK, Space Rangers, what do we say, everyone?
21:29It's a good bow
21:31Let's see you dancing, come on
21:33All right
21:35Astronauts ready, here we go
21:375, 4, 3, 2, 1, we have liftoff!
21:40Here we go!
21:41Yeah, let's go to the moon
21:43We're zooming to the moon
21:45Zoom, moon
21:47We'll get there very soon
21:49Zoom, zoom
21:50We're going to jump right out and take a walk about
21:54And space dance to this tune
21:57Here we go
21:58Space dancing, everyone
21:59Let's go
22:03Come on, little monster
22:09Yeah
22:11All right
22:13Robert, over to you on the launch pad
22:15All right, astronauts, come back down to Earth
22:19And touchdown
22:21Are you ready for blastoff?
22:23Yes
22:24Here we go
22:255, 4, 3, 2, 1
22:28And blastoff!
22:31Here we go
22:32We have liftoff
22:34We're reaching into space
22:35Yeah
22:36Space, space
