On December 5th, 1933 Prohibition was repealed by the 21st Ammendment. For those of you who don't speak government, that means that drinking alcohol, after being illegal for 13 years, finally became OK. That also meant that an entire nation, based on one pronouncement, ventured out squinty-eyed into the bright world of having fun. BUT imagine this had never happened...if you can't, this video does a depressingly good job for you.
