Freetime "Spend a cold european winter in New Zealand "
This video is an homage to all of New Zealand, especially Queenstown. I can't thank you enough.
I left Switzerland 6 months and went to New Zealand with my own bike. I spent 3 months in Queenstown where I met lot of people and rode all the trails I could. Bungee jumping, skydiving, and hiking the great walks have also been done. After that I travelled an other 3 months by bicycle around both island. Started form Queenstown to Dunedin, Lake Tekapo, Christchurch, Kaikoura, Hamner Spring, Picton, cross the sea to Wellington, from here headed further north to New Plymouth, Pokeno. Here I met a friend and because I was faster I expected we rode a car together to the top of New Zealand in Cap Reinga. He left me in Taupo and I continued my journey direction south. Picton, Nelson, St Arnaud, Greymouth, Franz Josef, Fox Galcier, Wanaka and back in Queenstown the February 27th. Unfortunately I had to fly back home but I'll come back, one day....
