APOLLO AND THE SUN - THE SHARPER SIDE OF ME

Apollo and the Sun is an exciting new 4-piece Indie pop, rock outfit hailing from the Sunshine Coast. The band has recently signed a 6-month development deal with Sunny Side Entertainment which includes the release of a new 5 track CD, recorded by Dave Harper at Vault Studios.This deal will also see the dynamic 4 piece engage in a run of development gigs around South East Queensland with several exciting festival appearances and national supports. Furthermore, Apollo and the Sun are proud to announce that in the upcoming weeks a video clip to the title track of the debut EP, Estelle, produced by the national up and coming video producer, James Ray will be released. The band is also set to feature on Balcony TV which is a leading daily online viral music show that features bands, musicians and other variety acts on balconies around the world.
Apollo and the Sun have enjoyed twelve months of performing and writing new material to prepare for the next step in continuing their musical careers. The band are regular performers at the Sunshine Coast's leading live music venue, The Kings Beach Tavern, Caloundra, and look forward to inviting everyone down there on Saturday 1 September for their debut EP launch of their new CD out mid August and available at shows and itunes.
