Growing up in beachside Mission Beach, Far North Queensland, Boatkeeper has woven the coastal sounds of a salt drenched youth into his own brand of soulful, acoustic folk. Days spent experimenting in the filtered sunlight of palm trees have infused Boatkeepers' sound with an impressive ability to transport his audience instantly to the sunshine and surf.
Playing shows along the East Coast, a listener expressed, “I have watched this guy live! Great stage presence, very humble, brilliant tunes (very Ben Howard-esque). Amazing up-and-coming talent!”
After the release of his debut EP ‘Windward’ last year, Boatkeeper has quickly made waves throughout Australia, jumping to number two on the iTunes Charts in the Singer/Songwriter genre. He has also managed to rack-up almost 500,000 streams on Spotify and received Triple J Unearthed rotation for the song ‘Cleanse’ and ‘So Go’.
Lead singer/guitarist Boyd Fuller is now joined by a crew of homegrown talent completing the five-piece line-up which promises to deliver catchy acoustic sing-a-longs and buoyant folk-rock anthems.
