SIBYL VANE - SUGAR HIGH
PRESENTED BY MILDA
Sibyl Vane is one of the most notable newcomers in the Baltics in year 2012. A trio from Estonia's small coastal town Pärnu has done a lot so far. After winning the Estonian Youth band contest they signed under a Latvian record label I Love You Records. After performing at the biggest summer music festivals in the Baltics -- Positivus and Summer Sound, the band arrived to the studio in order to record their debut album. While working in the studio they started their tour in Latvia and Lithuania. Their debut album "Love, Holy Water & TV" was introduced on November 1st. On their album opening tour that lasted to the end of year 2012, they were asked to join legendary Garbage as a supporting act at their show in Riga, Palladium. The popish and bluesy alternative rock trio has must really have a charisma that attracts people. It is not surprising that the Finnish music industry blog NRGM voted Sibyl Vane as the Estonian band with the most potential for breaking through internationally.
