Spanish moms strip down for a sexy calendar in order to pay for their kids' school bus.
Several Spanish mothers have recently stripped down for a sexy calendar, in order to raise funds so their children could take a bus to school. The mothers united after a district in Valencia changed a law pertaining to bus transport.
The law previously stated that transportation must be provided if the child lived more than 3km or 1.8 miles away from the school. But the law was modified, claiming that the distance could only be calculated in a straight line, leaving many children without a ride to school.
A mother stated “We have to scale a mountain and climb down a cliff to get to the school. On foot, using the most direct route it’s 4.5km, if you walk on the road it’s six”. Short after its launch, the calendar allowed the mothers to pay for three months of bus transport for their children.
Earlier this year, military wives used a novel approach for bringing awareness to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Ashley Wise, a Kentucky army wife started the campaign titled 'Battling Bare', where a powerful message is written across the naked backs of army wives.
Wise stated 'Maybe a naked woman would get attention.”
