Italian government passes legislation over ILVA

The Italian government is to pass legislation to force a clean-up of the ILVA steel plant and resolve a scandal threatening to shut it down. The plant, in the city of Taranto, is Europe's largest and is at the centre of a pollution row. It employs 20 thousand directly and indirectly.
