PNR Status Enquiry Android application: Best Android Project

This Android app project is by http://edureka.in/ student Prashant Jain. This app is one of the most downloaded ones in its category in Google Play. The name of the application is PNR status. PNR stands for Passenger Name Record.

In addition to the working of the app, Prashant has given an overview of the application development process. IBM Eclipse environment has been used in the video to show the basic components of the app. The application has been developed in Ice Cream Sandwich. The application is launched on Android emulator.

The Android project has 2 activities, and 3 other Java classes. The main activity is the PNR Enquiry activity, and the second one is Show Status activity. In addition, there is an AppRater class, which asks the user to rate the app after some time. The other two Java classes are MySQLLiteHelper and PNR Data Source. The project has 2 XML layouts. One layout for the main screen, and the other one for Result screen.
