Massive floods sweep El Salvador

At least 100 people have been killed in Central America as storms, floods and mudslides forced thousands to abandon their homes and trapped many more.

El Salvador has been one of most affected countries, where floods ravaged property and left at least 50,000 people homeless.

Many people have moved into relief shelters where volunteers are working around the clock to bring food and medicine to the victims.

Al Jazeera's Franc Contreras reports from the city of Usulutan, located along the Pacific Coast.
