Dolphins Release WR Chad Johnson On HBO's Hard Knocks

On August 11, 2012, Chad Johnson was arrested on a charge of domestic violence as reported by the police in Davie, Florida. Johnson headbutted his wife, reality T.V. personality Evelyn Lozada, which caused a gash on her forehead. Less than 24 hours after his arrest, Johnson was released by the Miami Dolphins. Lozada filed for divorce just two days after Johnson's release, citing that her marriage was "irretrievably broken."
