Malawi, Neno District, Matope: Bednet Distributions

Neno District in southern Malawi is strongly affected by malaria.

This distribution of 19,300 nets took place in 10 related areas via rural hospitals, health centres and dispensaries. The locations were: Chifunga, Lisungwi, Luwani, Magaleta, Matandani, Matope, Neno District, Neno Parish, Nkula, Nsambe.

The beneficiaries were children under 5, pregnant women and people living with HIV/AIDS, those most vulnerable to malaria.
